Information about formats There are two parts to a calendar format: it's orientation (year, month, or day) and the display length. We suggest using the largest display length less than or equal to your display's length, which will have the most space to show days or let you mark them. You can always use a format with a shorter display length. If you use a format with a longer display length than your display, then weeks will run over multiple lines and you won't be able to see a full week on one line.
The orientation of the format describes what information is shown on each line. We've included a guide to this below, and we encourage you to try out multiple formats and use the one you like best.
